I actually used this program maybe 20 years ago and purchased it for my son, it's still a great learning tool.. It also has an Open URL option where you can enter the link to any online video and stream it to full screen without the need to watch some annoying advertisements.. I have two boys, an 8yo & a 6yo They both do fairly well on this program although I do need to push it a bit with them (I'm thinking this is their ages more than the program)..
